Important information about our sessions
GETTING TO OUR NEW LOCATION:
Luma Room is now located at The Nightingale Wurru Wurru Biik.
The address is 108/215-219 Albion Street Brunswick 3056. You can access Luma Room via the amphitheatre along the bike path right next to Osoi Cafe. At the top of the steps turn right and head to the end of the hallway.
If the amphitheatre door is locked, there is an access point to your right. Enter 108 into the keypad and someone will come and get you.

Anstey Station and Route 19 tram line are very close to our new location. Parking can be limited, but parks may be found on Sydney Road, Albion Street (west of the train tracks) or in side streets off Albion Street. Please ensure you allow enough time for parking if you are driving.
The cost of your session
We have a flat rate of $270.00 per 50 minute session and $295.00 per session after hours (any session beginning at 5pm or later as well as any weekend session).
An extended 80 minute session costs $420 or $460 after hours.
Please reach out if you are interested in longer sessions or a therapy intensive.
Cancellation policy
Your appointment is specially reserved for you. Advanced notice is appreciated for cancellations or rescheduled appointments.
There is no fee for appointments changed more than 48 hours in advance. In the event of a cancellation within 48 hours or non-attendance, the full appointment fee will be automatically deducted on the day of your appointment.
If you are running late, please be aware that your therapist is usually unable to run overtime due to other appointments. Thank you for your understanding.

Please note that your therapist only takes on a certain number of clients at a time with the aim of being able to offer regular appointments and provide quality care to you. If possible, sticking to your appointment times or rescheduling within the same week or fortnight where available is appreciated. If you feel ready to attend less frequently or would like to take a break or finish up, please let us know.
Rebates
As the relationship is the client in relationship therapy, unfortunately individual Mental Health Care Plans are not applicable for sessions. Medicare does not subsidise couples+ therapy sessions at this time.
If you have private health insurance, you may be eligible for rebates depending on your policy and which clinician you choose.
